What is Bee’s Knees Portuguese?

Bee’s Knees Portuguese is for Portuguese speakers living in a non-Portuguese-speaking country who want to teach Portuguese to someone special—a child, friend, neighbour, partner or perhaps to a whole class?

At Bee’s Knees Portuguese I create resources to help you teach Portuguese in a fun and engaging way. The focus is on offline learning, making language connections as memorable and personal as possible.

I’m passionate about Brazil, Portugal, and the Portuguese language. I lived in Brazil for a while, and in Portugal, and I want to pass on my love for the Lusophone world to my children.

When I started teaching Portuguese to my sons, I couldn’t find the right resources—so I created them! I want them to learn Portuguese in a practical and fun way, within their world. I don’t know if I’ll be able to take them to Brazil or Portugal, but I will do my best to spark their curiosity and inspire them to keep learning Portuguese.

Why the name Bee’s Knees Portuguese? Luckily, "Portuguese" rhymes with "Bee’s Knees"—which in English means something amazing, the best! That’s exactly what I aim to bring you: unique, original, and high-quality mini-courses.
